Measuring of Dogs

Who Needs to Be Measured

ALL dogs not measured at previous UPDIFs OR were under the age of 2 when measured at their last UPDIF will need to be measured.

Dogs MUST be measured prior to measurement time closing the first day they compete.

Critical Requirement

Any dogs not measured by the deadline are NOT eligible for awards for that day.

If you do not get your dog measured on time, your dog will not be eligible for height division placements. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure your dog is measured in time.

Measurement Method

PVC Wicket System

Measuring will occur via a PVC wicket that has been designed to be used without the measuring official having to touch the dog in most cases.

Near Cut-Off Heights

A PVC bar will be required to touch the dog's withers (shoulders) while in a standing position if they are near a height division cut-off.

Accepted Height Cards

The following permanent height cards from agility venues that specify a dog's actual height will be accepted:

✅ Printed sheet of the NAFA measurement page from their website (must show dog name and measurement)

✅ Permanent height cards from accepted agility venues

UKI measurements are NOT accepted
