In case of severe weather, the Decatur City Hall provides a tornado shelter that is open to pets. Pets must be on a leash or in crates.

The basement opens when a tornado watch is issued.

Requirements:

  • All pets must be on a leash or in crates
  • Follow all instructions from city officials
  • Be prepared to evacuate quickly if needed
